Most wholesale jewelry suppliers offer a variety of jewelry that represents dogs, cats, horses, birds and other pets like reptiles, snakes, hamsters and many more.

The most popular type of pet theme jewelry by far is any item that represents a specific dog and cat breed. Dogs and cats in general sell well, but people who prefer one breed to the others sometimes collect items representing the animals. Keep those things in mind when you see what’s selling and consider expanding your offerings to make more sales. Also, especially in the beginning, consider giving free gifts to people who purchase one item.

A Rottweiler mug might come paired with a small Rottie cell phone charm or charm for a bracelet. Or a gold Pug pendant might have a charm or a keychain paired with it. Experiment and offer both inexpensive and higher-end items at first to see what sells best, so you’ll know where to invest your inventory and promotion dollars down the line.
